I use a Fender highway strat into fender blues junior. I use the mudhoney as my main gained rythem sound, then for lead tones i use my black finger compressor, and that does the job. If you turn the gain knob all the way up its sounds like a fuzz pedal. If you leave in the midgain section (as i do) its sound like an nice cranked old tube amps own distion. It has a very creamy sound. I must say it work best as a lead pedal for me.

Very easy. 4 knobs including a boost knob

had some problems with it while i was using the battery, it sometimes just went dead. Now i have switched to a powersupply and there dosent seem to be a problem at all.

i usualy play older rock/blues, like Hendrix, zeppelin, AC/DC, clapton and such. i also play a lot of stuff like guns'n'roses, scorpions, RHCP and other. This is almost any rock musician. If you play Death metal or other extremly hard rock, this does not do the trick. it wish it the posibily to press the boost knob using your foot, thats a flaw. If you like the thick, crunchy sound of vintage overdrive, then this is a good choise!
