The Twin Drive, class A all-tube overdrive. Germanium & silicon transistor effects are an attempt to simulate desirable tube overdrive characteristics. Instead of emulating tube overdrive with rare or unavailable germanium transistors, the Twin Drive does it with, vacuum tubes! Dual-tone operation offers two entirely different voicings. Mode 1 faithfully reproduces classic 70's overdriven tube amp tone. Mode 2 climbs the gain curve to produce a creamy, super-saturated, sustaining tone that has become the trademark of legendary artists like Gary Moore, Satriani & Carlos Santana.
