The circuit used in the Fuzz Faze + is extremely stable , runs cool and is not prone to drift and tone changing problems that plague most germanium units. However, as the transistors age or if exposed to extreme temperature changes drifting may occur. As a precaution there is a (set and forget) quality trimmer within the unit that can be adjusted to compensate should that condition occur in the distant future. Or it can be adjusted to YOUR tonal taste if you wish.
